APP Program Details

Elevation Hive offers a 184 hour Associate Polarity Practitioner (APP) program which includes Polarity 1- Basic Principles, Polarity 2- Elements Journey, Polarity Energetic Communications, Polarity Reflexology, three online courses including Esoteric and Orthodox Anatomy, Energetic Nutrition and Ethics, as well as a Polarity Practitioner Practicum experience including supervision for 30 clinical sessions given.

In addition to these polarity classes our program includes Craniosacral Balancing One.

The instruction portion of the APP program can take 9-12 months to complete, but it may take longer as needed including additional time for the student to complete their required clinical sessions (given and received) and supervision for the student’s practice clinical sessions given.

Financials, Scholarships and Refunds:

Upon registering for the APP program with Elevation Hive, students have the option of paying for the program in full at the time of registration, or with a designated payment plan provided at checkout. Should a student decide to withdraw from the program before 80% of completion they will not be responsible for the outstanding balance. Any withdrawal from the program after 80% completion will constitute payment in full, withstanding possible unexpected circumstances to be determined at that time. It is the intention of Elevation Hive to afford partial scholarships when funding is available. Students interested in applying for a scholarship will be asked to submit an Elevation Hive Scholarship application, attaching all necessary documents to be considered for approval. This application can be submitted before the program begins or at any time during the course to completion. and many schools are going to work it into their program rate. Also should we work in supply fees- copies of handouts, element class decorations and food, etc.

Admissions Requirements:

Polarity Therapy is a healing art that demands a safe environment. Students are expected to arrive to class on time, sober, and with respect and integrity for their fellow students’ learning space. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and in these situations the student will be asked to leave class. If the disruptive behavior continues the student may be asked to withdraw from the program possibly forfeiting any deposits or payments made.

Students must be 18 years or older to attend classes.

Students' physical health must be strong enough to withstand 7-8 hour class times and the ability to physically negotiate sessions given and sessions received. Elevation Hive asks that students refrain from attending class when there is illness or fever. If a student has a medical condition that could need attention while class is in session (i.e. epilepsy, diabetes, etc), they must share this information during the enrollment process.

It is not unusual for students to experience emotional and physical processes while learning to give and receive this work. It is therefore important that a student of this work have a clear understanding of, and a strong ability to regulate their own emotional process. Stable mental health, emotional maturity and the willingness to hold and support fellow students and prospective clients in emotional situations are a must. If a student begins to feel their emotional process is overwhelming or unmanageable, it is the student’s responsibility to communicate this with their instructor immediately.

Elevation Hive will give a pass/fail grade at the end of each class. The rubrics will include attendance, technique competency, and participation. Attendance will be tracked each class day with a sign in sheet. The technique portion will be evaluated during the session trades between students in class. Instructors will be tracking the student’s ability to assimilate what was instructed in the demos in their private sessions. Students will be asked to participate in class conversation around lectures and process and to give feedback about the work given and received, as well as asking questions to deepen their understanding.

Elevation Hive will sponsor student clinics to allow for more opportunity for any follow up, mentoring and supervision the students need, as well as give the students a space to complete their sessions needed for APTA credentialing.
