Please pay careful attention to these directions and drive SLOWLY on all gravel roads.
We respect our neighbors and it has come to our awareness that there have been complaints about people driving too fast and ending up at the wrong address because GPS is misleading (and often prompts people to turn too soon). You are welcome to let google know (I keep requesting they fix this!)
We sincerely appreciate your help in this regard!
Address: 7344 48th Way NW Olympia, WA 98502
From Olympia:
Take the 101 North
be sure to stay right on the 101 towards Shelton when it divides into highway 8.
Pass the Steamboat Island exit and take the next exit for Oyster Bay. It is small so keep your eyes peeled.
Go straight for a while and turn right onto Scott Rd. (it is at a funny angle and you can only turn right)
Turn left on 48th way NW - this is a gravel road. You will see a small lending library with owls and mushrooms painted on it.
*****GO ALL THE WAY DOWN 48TH WAY! Just before the sign that says “end of county road”, turn right into the driveway. You will see a fence with the address 7344/ 7418 and a small wooden sign that says “the hive”.
If you do not see a sign that says "end of county road" then you have not gone far enough.
Once you drive down the driveway, stay to the Left at the Y where it says "DOME" (Technically we are located at 7418- the address to the left).
There is a parking lot just past the big dome. Please be mindful of how you park so others can fit. If you come late, simply park behind other cars. DO not block the driveway to the small cottage.
There is additional overflow parking available in front of the large beige house next door (if you were to turn right at the Y in the driveway instead of left). If need be, you can always turn around and park over there.
