Therefor, this class is open to both practitioners and non-practitioners alike. 

You may take this class for your own personal growth, to be able to better receive the work, or to share with your family, friends, and those who you care for. 

If you have already studied reflexology you may find some of this information to be varied and brand new, offering expanded perspectives and techniques while other aspects will be familiar.

As a touch-based modality, if you are interested in becoming certified in Polarity and intend to practice professionally (or add it to your existing practice), then it is legally required in Washington state to have a manual license of some sort. In Oregon and other states this may not be necessary. 

Polarity is very complimentary to the following professions:

• Licensed Massage therapists, craniosacral therapists, reflexologists

• Physical therapists

• Somatic practitioners or body centered psychotherapists

• Yoga therapists

• Medical professionals such as chiropractors, Naturopathic doctors, acupuncturists, midwives, doulas, death doulas, or other professionals who have a license to touch and want to incorporate body based energy work into their practice

*This class will not make you eligible to become certified as a reflexologist or to call yourself a certified reflexologist in the state of Washington.

If you are already a massage therapist when you take this class, then your massage license allows you to practice reflexology and you do not need a to be certified through the state in order to practice.

This class will be held 15 min. outside of Olympia, WA on ten acres of sacred waterfront forest. The land supports one full-time family residence, one 30 foot geodesic classroom dome with views of Oyster Bay inlet and one nightly rental (with more coming). If you are traveling from out of town or would like to learn more, read the FAQ below.

The dome has heat and hot water for tea. There is a separate space on the property with a dedicated kitchen, bathroom, hardwood floors, and gorgeous views of the water. Directions will be provided via email upon registration.

The land offers many opportunities to deepen your learning experience, nourish and replenish.

*We offer discounts on the nightly rentals for students who travel from near and far who wish to stay on the property during classes. Currently we have a one bedroom cottage with a queen bed and a slightly smaller than full size Murphy bed in the living room. In addition, we have two smaller domes that are still under construction.

My name is Amanda Lux and I am the creator of the Elevation Hive.

I am a board certified polarity practitioner, Registered Polarity Educator, Licensed massage therapist, and have taken many additional trainings and teacher trainings.

Some of these but not all include BodyMind Bridge Hypnotherapy, transformational life coaching, dream teacher training with Robert Moss, and yoga teacher training with a focus on somatics.


I have been practicing Polarity therapy and Craniosacral Unwinding professionally since 2004 and have had the opportunity to give somewhere in the vicinity of 10,000 sessions over nearly two decades of private practice.

I have been teaching Polarity professionally for five years and have been assisting classes and studying to teach since 2015.

If you have already paid full price for a class with me at this school, you may repeat it for half price the second time (unless it is being offered as an inclusive retreat- then there may be added costs).

You are welcome to repeat any class for free after the second time (as long as there is space).

It is very common for students to retake classes because the material gets richer and deeper every time. The energy changes with every group of people, and there is no better way to build community and hone your skills in a safe container.
