About the class:

In this next level of craniosacral training, you’ll expand your toolkit with both physical and energetic techniques, including still point induction, strain and counterstrain, direction of energy, and ways to work skillfully with the facial bones and the cranial system as a whole. You’ll also refine your palpation sensitivity and deepen your capacity to hold safe space for physical, emotional, and energetic release.

While this training builds naturally on concepts from Craniosacral One: Foundations, newcomers are welcome to join without prior training.

This training is especially valuable for massage therapists, bodyworkers, acupuncturists, nurses, and other healing professionals who want to support profound change in their clients without overworking their own bodies. By learning to engage the craniosacral system in subtle yet powerful ways, you’ll discover how to facilitate deep physical and emotional release with far less physical strain. These gentle, refined techniques allow you to conserve your own energy, extend the longevity of your career, and add a transformative dimension to your existing practice—one that clients often experience as both deeply restorative and life-changing.

What You’ll Learn
This immersion focuses on assessment and treatment of the cranial and facial bones. We’ll cover methods to evaluate and release restrictions in 16 different bones of the head, always integrating them with the membrane and whole-body connections introduced in Level 1. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:

  • Perform basic assessments of cranial and facial bones to identify restriction patterns.

  • Recognize different types of sphenoid imbalances (open, fixed, compressed) and learn how to support release through the cranial vault, dural system, and body-wide connections.

  • Assess and treat key cranial structures including the ethmoid, vomer, maxilla, zygoma, palatine, and mandible.

  • Address common dysfunctions of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).

    Benefits to the Nervous System

Craniosacral therapy works at the intersection of structure, physiology, and energy. By gently releasing restrictions in the cranial and facial bones, it supports healthy cerebrospinal fluid flow and helps restore balance within the central nervous system. This regulation encourages the body to shift from sympathetic “fight or flight” responses into parasympathetic states of deep rest, repair, and integration—effects often associated with reduced stress, improved sleep, and greater resilience.

From a polarity therapy perspective, craniosacral work also reconnects subtle currents of life energy that run through the nervous system and the whole body. When these currents are balanced and free-flowing, clients often experience not only physical relief but also emotional clarity, a heightened sense of presence, and deeper alignment with their innate intelligence. In this way, the work bridges science and energy medicine, offering practitioners a profound way to support healing on multiple levels at once.
